Much Excitement About These Backpacks!
For my birthday this year, I asked my family to get me the Osprey Travel System including the Osprey Porter 46, the Osprey Daylite, and the Osprey Ultralight Packing Cubes. I would like to showcase my first positive hands-on experiences so far. I hope this will help anyone out there on the fence about buying these products.
I have yet to find something I dislike about them.
Basically, we want to go from this…
To this…
Why Packing Cubes?
I suppose I could have just used some extra plastic bags lying around to separate things out, but these packing cubes have two features which I really like:
1. The cubes allow for some stretching and are much harder to tear apart.
2. The cubes come in a set of three, varying in size.
I plan to use largest packing cube for used pants and shirts.
I will go ahead and admit that unless I’ve really soiled or sweat in a pair of clothes, I may reuse the shirts and pants, especially if it is difficult to find time or a place to wash them.
But what about smelly socks and underwear?!?!
-You
Well, I plan to use the medium packing cube for soiled clothes which will hopefully only be socks and underwear.
The smallest packing cube, I will use for toiletries.
The Porter 46
It Easily Stores an Extra Pair of Shoes!
Even with the shoes stored away and zipped up, there is plenty of space for the rest of the clothes!
Still Plenty of Room!
But wait, there’s more!
The Daylite
I won’t go into as much detail about the Daylite pack, but I will primarily use it for electronics such as my Nintendo Switch, Surface Pro, and Canon Rebel. It also has room for my extra jacket and portable lumbar support. The pack has two large mesh pockets for drinks and snacks.
Another cool feature of the Porter 46 is that the Daylite pack can be attached to it to make one large pack. Although, if you have back problems like me, I would be cautious not to overdo the load!
I highly recommend these backpacks, and I plan to use them on all my upcoming travels.
I am so glad you showed us how these work. Thank you so much. We are now considering to get these too.
